Emission-free waste collection

Emission-free waste collection comes one step closer when using a fully Electric bin-lift system.

REDUCE CARBON FOODPRINT

The almost 137,000 refuse trucks operating in the U.S. alone burn approximately 1.2 billion gallons of diesel fuel a year, releasing almost 27 billion pounds of the greenhouse gas, CO2. Every gallon of diesel fuel they burn emits more than 22 pounds of CO2.

When using electric bin lifters:

  • No engine power – zero carbon footprint.
  • Engine remains at idle – zero additional fuel consumption.
  • No hydraulic fluid to leak. Safer, quieter and less stressful environment for operators and the general public.
  • Compliments electric and hybrid RCVs, as no hydraulics are needed to power the lift.

REDUCED FUEL CONSUMPTION

“The best energy is the one that is not generated.” For a number of reasons, reducing oil consumption is one of the highest priorities for Governments and Municipalities around the world:

  • Cost of energy. Price of fossile fuels is going up, while battery power price per kwH go down.
  • Climate change and CO2 emission are accelerating the 'electrification' of diesel-powered equipment.
  • Urban air quality needs to improve, and pollution levels lowered.
  • With an average consumption of 85 liters of diesel per 100 km driven, and over 100 km driving per day when collecting household bins, every RCV E-lifter eliminates the equivalent of three (fuel-driven) passenger cars in terms of CO2 emissions.

INCREASED RCV LIFETIME

The BAS E-LIFTER generates  up to 20% fuel savings on diesel-powered RCVs, and are instrumental for Hybrid and Electric RCVs.

  • Improved efficiency because of light weight
  • One chair, 150 kg bin (no compaction)
  • Pick-up and empty containers without using high-level engine power needed to pressurise the hydraulic system.
  • Works with all major European RCV rear-mount body types.
  • Longer life time and less maintenance costs for chassis engine.
  • With less stress on the engine and hydraulic system, the lifetime of the engine and related systems is prolonged.

To conclude: Fitting as many Refuse Collection Vehicles with E-lifters instead of hydraulic lifters REALLY MATTERS to the environment, garbage truck operators, and citizens alike.

Our vision is a clean and sustainable world for current and future generations. It is our mission to contribute to an emission free world by offering 100% electric bin lifting solutions.
